The challenge

With age, people change physically, mentally and psychologically. Such transitions have a significant impact on older people's relationship with food, affecting their cooking and nutritional intake. This creates a need for a solution to provide an overview of MEAL STRATEGIES such as - batch cooking; community kitchen; take away - and help shape a relationship towards food, thereby helping maintain a healthy diet. Therefore, the goal is to keep the aging society in good health and autonomous.

The solution

SUP is a meal assistant at home which strategizes meal planning. The product-service system is like Google Home for the elderly but providing easy and less-complex alternative interaction to technology. Users can use SUP to subscribe with existing meal providers services or chef-at-home services. Using the system elderly discover their meal plans, while the data can be shared with caretakers & dietitians to provide them an overview.
