The challenge

Noise-levels in the university library are currently too high.

The solution

We designed a LED-strip, which can identify the exact location where a noise level surpasses a certain limit. When this limit is exceeded, the LED turns red at that specific spot. With this solution students become (more) aware of their loudness, and other students can easily see which student is exceeding the limit, which could lead to better social control as well.
